Dried tulsi, or Holy Basil (Ocimum sanctum), the 'Queen of Herbs.'
Traditionally used in herbalism: The 'Queen of Herbs' in Ayurveda — a sacred adaptogen traditionally taken daily to support resilience to stress, a clear mind, and overall vitality. Revered as much for the spirit as for the body.
A little lore: Sacred to Vishnu and Lakshmi — a herb of devotion, protection, and purification that opens the heart.
Close to home: Partly — tulsi is tropical, but it grows beautifully in Ontario as a summer annual (it won't survive frost).
In your cup & cauldron: Steep as a fragrant tea, or offer on the altar.
